In a snug and remote corner of the city of Gothenburg, Farhad Darya celebrated his birthday with a group of intellectuals, poets, writers, artists, journalists, and special fans. During that special night, Darya’s role in the contemporary music of Afghanistan and his works were assessed by some of the guests. Poets dedicated their poetry to Farhad. He sang three of his new songs for the guests without accompaniment of any musical instruments. This unforgettable evening was organized by the International Afghan Women Center Organization. |
