He crossed Germany and performed in the following big cities: November 12 in Hamburg, November 13 in Essen, November 19 in Frankfurt, and November 25 in Munich. This tour was an entirely different initiative, and as said by the music experts: “Darya was in the crest of his performance experiences while touring Germany in 2005”. Lovely music, new and moving performing style, well-organized stage, disciplined shows, high class venues and concert halls, Darya’s manipulation and preparation, his new look and up-to-date outfit, professional sound system and beautiful light show, and an overall young and fresh breeze of change made a lot of difference to his German tour this year.
Darya started the tour with a folk-pop style in his first concert in Hamburg, while bit by bit, he moved towards pop-rock tastes toward the end of his German tour. He had crossed out the pause and interval from his shows, and sang around three and a half hours non-stop. Darya built a new atmosphere around the stage where his fans could find themselves much closer to him than before.
Farhad donated a considerable portion of his proceeds to “KUFA” (www.kufaev.de), the German/Afghan humanitarian organization. During his 2005 tour in Germany, he and his fans supported Afghan orphans and widows through this trusted organization. Recently, “KUFA” has given its projects and orphanages’ patronage in Afghanistan to Farhad Darya. At the beginning of spring 1385 (March 2006), Darya will be inaugurating housing for orphans in Kunduz province under safeguard and support of KUFA. This series of orphanages will soon be extended to other provinces.
The participation of the young generation in such a big crowd during this tour was not as frequent in Afghan entertainments in the past. After so many years, one could feel a youthful blood in the young generation outside Afghanistan. It’s also been said that there was a teenager rocking the stage instead of 43-year-old Darya:-)
